Graphologist, SMS to the partner, call and polygraph test to confirm the votes, he doesn't want to pay the debt out of his pocket that bad, probably would go homeless.

They have to confirm the signatures and are given 10 days to do so. There is no chance they will just take them at face value and Laporta did not either for good reason.

It is routine to take time and verify the signatures but will be spun into some attempt to avoid vote or slow it down.

Actually no. If the motion goes through, he wouldn't be liable for the losses of this season. It would be doing him a favour in this sense.

However, it would also mean he has less time to hide his irregularities. Right now he's waiting to see what is his best option.

Isn't this just first round of voting or even just a summary of how many ballots cast were valid (not which way they voted)?

I've had 2 lunchtime beers so gears turning slowly on this one.

All of these signatures are against Bartomeu.

Next step is the actual voting process to remove Bartomeu or not. But board might actually resign before step 2.

So how's the vote 95% certain as Devils says? Surely if 10210 have been validated against and 9465 are remaining with only 411 in progress, motion can't fail? Is there a threshold it has to go over or just majority?

If 16k validated, there will be voting against board.

We will need at least 10k to show up and then 2/3 of them vote against the board

Only ~5% of votes in over 10200 counted so far are invalid. We have 20600 signatures and need 16500. We are already 61% (10200/16500) of the way there

Assuming that the same percentage of invalided remain for the remaining 9500 means we are on course for about ~9000 valid signatures out of the remaining counts which would shatter the required 16500.

100% - 5% (invalid) = 95% positive.
