Xavi's words are concerning but against him more so than else.

There is no other legend that speaks to the media more than Xavi, he has a comment about every even that occurs at Barca. But he has praised signings and never spoke ill of the board or new players...now after Real win the CL again, all of a sudden the narrative is changed to no one has any idea about what they are doing at the club.

These guys could have voiced their concerns in elections in 2015 or during the vote of no confidence last summer, but nothing.

Barca DNA these days seems to be being reactive instead of proactive when it comes to dealing with problems at the club.

Not sure if y'all noticed but several MD writers criticized/attacked Puyol for his comments while completely missing his point about the CDR:

That's four different writers directly or indirectly either criticizing or straight out attacking Puyol for his comments.

Xavi's turn now I bet.

It wasn't his fault what hapenned in rome. He could have given 11 messis and EV would have managed to lose with those tactics.

Loss is on players too. Complacency is not what just happened under Valverde. It's been a chronic disease of this team for years now.

One of the issues is that we lost leaders on the pitch too. Mascherano was last one.

Lots of rumors lately about Bartomeu wanting to restructure the sporting section of the club again with Jordi Cruyff leading the project, however he has one condition and that is complete freedom where he's the boss so he can shape the 1st team and Barca B in his vision. That would mean both Robert Fernandez and Pep Segura leaving the club, or in the latter's case, being given a role where he cannot interfere with anything.

That is also what Monchi wanted in Roma and wherever he goes. Complete freedom so his project cannot get torpedoed by anyone.

Bartomeu to leave someone else to take the final decision at Barca? Lmao he'd rather die before he's letting someone else have the final word. Jordi/anyone else have another thing coming if they think Bartomeu leaves them a free hand.

This guy is the typical dumb cretin who thinks he's smarter than anyone else but has come into a position of power. He'll keep his position at the cost of almost anything. Even with the cost of throwing others under the bus. I mean how the fuck does someone who is second in command to that corrupt motherfucker Rossell still have a place in this Club? Nevermind the goddamn President.

That would make me happier than any signing, after last summer all guys that were in charge for that disaster shouldn't even have a job at Barca right now.

But i doubt it'll happen and the timing would be super weird. He wants to restructure everything regarding transfers right when the market starts? So the new guys have to do months/weeks work in some days? Or the ones who get sacked finish their work first? That doesn't make much sense, why now and not 3 months ago?
