How are Beko or Rakuten linked in any ways to football? They are not companies related to football or even sport.
I would like to point out that Bartomeu is right in saying that those contracts with companies were in accordance with market values. All those companies perform evaluations and analyses and reach a formula in determining what is a fair price. There is a reason why Us, Utd and soon Real all have very similar shirt sponsorship price.
It is very different to private investment in a football club via a state.

Motion will fail IMO as it's practically impossible to get the 66% needed in Round 2 unless the players make a public statement, but I have a feeling powerful men in Catalunya are making moves behind the scenes to help the candidacy of a new man, hopefully Victor Font.
Might be the reason Laporta has been reserved lately too as he's in the mix.
A new person is the only way Mundo Vomitivo and Sport will accept a new President too. They're very anti-Laporta and anti-whoever was in Laporta's board including Benedito as they weren't that willing to share secrets and exclusives with them, and openly went to war with the press when they reported something false. For us fans that might be great, but perhaps not the smartest thing to do turning them against you.
Laporta rather infamously also tried to get Santi Nolla at MD replaced by going to his bosses in Grupo Godo and suggesting they appoint Francesc Aguilar as the new chief of the paper. That went all wrong when Aguilar turned out to be Nolla's pet dog and the old fuck has since then had a grudge against Laporta and whoever he is associated with him, including repeatedly playing down Cruyff's influence as a player and coach at Barca.

Dont really get the feeling Laporta wants it and think he would be a disaster.
As good as he was in lighting the flame to get Barca going again dont think he is the right man going forward. He used it last time to promote himself politically and gain financially and wouldnt have Cruyff this time around.
