Court in Barcelona ruled that books were rigged in 2010. Don't know if they hold this board accountable but it can't be good.
These things go on and on. Messi, Neymar cases, Rosell. What's next?

Not sure about that but weren't 2010 books (so for 2009-10 season) still Laporta's board responsibility?

Yes, but this Board rigged the books for 2010 and made it look like something else, and of course sued Laporta and the previous board. Told the socis that they had to do it, as an act of responsibility to prevent future boards from leaving Barcelona in a bad position.

Rosell made it his life's biggest mission to tarnish Laporta and the previous board's name due to what happened between them half a decade earlier.

Even Pique said that this shit wasn't needed, indirectly speaking against these cunts who were more worried about destroying the previous board than protecting the name of the club when they were involved in all this shady Neymar Deal stuff, and some other crap.

Think about it. Had this board just focused on themselves and the club, and did their best job and the team won many titles, people would have put them higher than Laporta's board. Short memories and all that, but they were more interested in vengeance.

Irony has it that the same day Laporta won the lawsuit against him made by Rosell and this board, Sandro Rosell was denied bail in his case.

Life is strange.

Well, he also said "players will arrive which excite", so it should be at least two of them. :tata:

I'm pretty sure Bellerin is a player that Barto would call exciting. I'm a bit worried now. Considering the money EPL teams have available to spend and comparing it to our transfer money one "exciting" player will be the highest.

This guy is a typical politican, nothing more, nothing less.

Disgusting press conference about 5 minutes spent oh Valverde and then about half an hour on all his controversies.

What else should he say about Valverde? There will be his introductory press conference on Thursday.

And he talked about things that people wanted to know so really don't know why you complain about that.

This guy cannot stop lying. Said the Laporta Board left with a loss of more than 30m when the court ruled that they actually left with a profit of 4m.

If you're that sure about it, then why don't you appeal the ruling to the Supreme Court? Because Bartomeu said they won't.

Not surprising to see why he doesn't come out more in public. The guy almost starts panicking when journalists asks him some challenging questions.

From the snippets I've read on twitter he said that they didn't tell Valverde he was getting the job until today and that Robert didn't even talk to Valverde before he hired him just that he talked to his "entourage". How the fuck could you not talk to the guy you are hiring? And Barto claimed that Robert and Valverde haven't talked about summer signings? Are these guys fucking retarded? You can't believe a word Barto says but it honestly wouldn't surprise me. When Messi is gone we are fucked.
