To be fair it was quite the opposite in some games during the World Cup in Russia. He basically saved Modric against Denmark. Both of them were immense during that WC, probably the best midfield duo of the tournament.

Yes. While Modric was epic at the WC, Rakitic was realy realy realy good. He gave an enromous effort and scored cruical pens with such an ease (just remember Modric's pens wlvs Denmark).
Rakitic was our top player SIDE by side with Modric.
And epic Broz rounded the mid with them.

He isn't ready for 90 minutes. He will be great for them when fit, I have no doubt about that at all. Some people should shut the fuck up, we lost 8-2 without Raki playing and yet all mighty Sevilla still has 1-1 after 60 min. This just shows how horrible we are. Who will be the one to blame now with Raki, Suarez and Vidal gone? Messi?
