This was an awesome wc. Forgetting the excess spending, and the 4 stadiums that will be abandoned(Manaus, Cuiaba, Natal and Brasilia), and focusing on the football, it was awesome. Fanfests were great, and the experience of going to wc matches were fantastic. I'm really glad my country did a good job. I will surely miss this wc

Most stadiums look like wrecks at 1950 standards, including Maracana.
The outside facades are totally raw, no paintjobs and no decorations that make it look like hosting important events ( Maracana, Brasil, Mineirao & others ).
On the other hand, Manaus looks nice and modern, Cuiaba looks like a new stadium for an average club in Europe ( let's say Legia Warsaw with its Pepsi Arena, still better though ), Curitiba similar to Cuiaba. Salvador stadium is also nice while Sao Paulo wasn't even finished 100%.
On the other side, I like how Maracana is inside, seeing many video filmed from the stands, I like the atmosphere it can help create, despite not offering the best viewing standards or the best seat placement, I like the way it goes when full like it doesn't have 2 levels and that it keeps characteristics distinctive to new stadiums.
The most creepy thing, many favelas around where the stadiums are located and generally all over the country, people rightfully unhappy with the countries leaders and corruption at its highest while promoting socialism including painting the National Stadiums seats in Brasil with red.
I hear many people saying that they have another impression about Brazil now, especially Rio, which they saw as a spectacular place, now just as a place to skip and even though I have distant relatives who were Brazilian living in Rio, and now are old, I hear many whispers that it's not what it used to be and that it was maybe a place to be 100 years ago rather than now.

No country on earth has the football magic of Brazil! the copacabana fanfest is testimony of that. Thank you Brazil!
Nothing else remains other than keeping the tradition of South American teams winning the cup in their continent today.

Well i don't personally think it was a great world cup, no standout teams, nobody playing outstanding. I mean Leo Messi & Paul Pogba winning the awards tells you alot.

Happy for Klose, Germany deserved the title, they were the best, but again not exactly outstanding.

Arjen Robben was probably the best thing in the tournament, he gave so much effort, with quality.
