Diego Milito was a great striker who has scored 15+ league goals for several seasons in different clubs (Genoa, Zaragoza & Inter).

Hardly a one-season-wonder like Guiza who didn't reached 15+ goals in any top division during his career bar 07/08.

Real are so stuck up about Messi they probably wouldn't want to buy a player that reminds them so much of a guy who owns Bernabau.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said Mohamed Salah was "on his way" to being mentioned in the same breath as Lionel Messi after he scored four goals against Watford on Saturday.

Messi - 602 Goals (all appearances)

Salah - 124 Goals (all appearances)

Messi is 5 years older than Salah but to catch Messi would have to score 478 goals over the next five years of his career. Ain’t going to happen!

Klopp and all Liverpool fans do Salah a favour and squash these ridiculous comparisons.

I'd imagine Klopp would be comparing the two just this season and not over their careers.

That’s a good point you bring up Alik. Football in general is filled with a lot of decent players who had that one “great season”. Unfortunately, they rarely repeat it. This is part of what makes Leo special is his consistency season after season.

I think time and time again, people like Pep has said that it isn't fair to compare players like Salah to Messi. But honestly saying I haven't seen a player that set fire upon the league,club and fanbase since Messi did for us; too early to rate where he ranks in the top but no doubt such a special player for Liverpool.
