Could be a good option for our midfield. We're unlikely to get him (not only because of his price and the fact that he plays for title rivals, but also the fact that we're a step down atm and he wouldn't be a guaranteed starter at Barca. Tbh, wages are the only reason for him to join Barca right now), but he's still cheaper and more gettable than Vidal (not to mention younger)...

Probably gonna be 60m + tax (anyone know how much that would be? 70m?) if we try to get him. So much for being cheaper than Vidal.

He probably would be cheaper, but not significantly. I'd say Vidal would cost 10-15m more at most.

Thats what annoys me about this debate so much. People always bring up the total amount Neymar costs, but when it comes to Bale, they only say the 90+m paid to Tottenham. If they sum up all the costs of Bale, it would be well and beyond 100m.
