The other day Barca were linked to him in the Italian press & now his agent came out to say that it's true that we've been watching him. Thought I'd open a thread in case there is any substance to this & also to introduce the player since a lot of you probably don't know him.
Bardi is a Livorno youth product & played there until Inter bought him in January 2011. He played in their primavera team until he went back on loan to Livorno for the 2011/12 season. He also had a loan spell at Novara in 2012/13 & is back at Livorno once again this season. At all of these clubs, although they are not top, he has shown a tremendous amount of potential. Last season he won the Serie B Goalkeeper of the Year award.
He's also the #1 goalkeeper for the Italy U21 squad, ahead of another promising gk in Mattia Perin.
