Watching Arsenal - Everton right now and Auba is class. Was thinking I'd rather get Lautaro and this guy instead of spunking 150m+ on Neymar. He has pace for days, excellent work rate, nice intelligent movement just outside the box and scores goals for fun.
Werner could do well on the left too and is younger to boot. Just hope Bartomeu is gone and we don't chase the Brazilian diva for the whole summer when alternatives like the ones above exist.

Would love a younger version of Aubameyang in our team. Exactly what I like in a forward. Two runners in behind and one player to feet player seem to be ideal for us. Ronaldinho-Etoo-Giuly, Henry-Etoo-Messi, Villa-Messi-Pedro, Neymar (in his 14/15 role)-Suarez(before he got shit)-Messi. One who create and two who attack space (ofc need to be decent on the ball). Right now we play with three who wants it at their feet and added two more of those type of players (Coutinho, Dembele) and looking for a another one (Lautaro). Don't know what they are doing at the sporting department really.

"Disappearing" in big games is the same old, shit argument. Same was said about Suarez. If a good striker disappears in big games its more likely that the team is just not good enough.
Dont want Aubameyang though. Too expensive for a short term solution. And we have enough problems in 1-3 years already.

Yeah two high level then one Suarez level. It's a steep price. He will want big salary too. Short-term solution.
Depends on what we offer him doesn't it. A smart and savvy board would offer a 3 year contract because by the 3rd year he'll probably be less hungry, physically slower etc and we can either extend his contract a year if he's done well or move him on. If we can get him for 40m with a salary of 15m a year it's worth it. Imagine him running in behind on Messi passes for the next 2 seasons. Whilst we wait for a genuine striker option to present itself and not Lautaro or some other bum.
