It just seems like some kind of marketing strategy from RM, to keep changing high profile coaches and players - for the sake of it, for change and the attention it gets. They've even fired coaches that won them Liga the very same season

FWIW I think he was sacked at the right time. Everyone agrees that they played great, at times unstoppable, football and he had that 2-3 months unbeaten run, not to mention the cup double last year. He got out before the Ronnie-Bale saga explodes, before the core started to age and before Perez forces him to change his system to accommodate another Galactico.

He gets out of this circus with his reputation intact and will probably get a ton of offers once, whenever it might be, he decides to resume his managing career.

Also, two promotions to the Primera with Extremadura (!) and Tenerife.

Also, another time finalist with Liverpool in the Champions League.

Or any other for that matter. People on the internet have managed to convince themselves about several extremely debatable issues (or even downright lies in many cases) One of these "common wisdoms" on the internet is that Benitez is a horrible manager, which is as bizarre as the ludicrous hype around Jose.

Uncle perez just couldn't stand that we're going for the treble and they went trophyless so he sacked ancelotti to release the tension in his head.

Answering "I don't know" to a simple "What did ancelotti lack" question only further proves it.
