Why do Rashford and Martial still produce since they are often played out of preferred positions? Similar with Pogba, if CM is not the best fit.
Lingard is no special player and he is doing nothing special. He is solid.

Mourinho's never been that great with developing players, but you can't blame it all on him. Pogba is 24 and hasn't shown anything memorable no matter who he partnered in the midfield.
Pogba could and should be the corner stone of this team but he will never shine in this system.
Pogba is not that type of a player. He's not a rock upon which a team could or should be built. He's a luxury player who's supposed to make a difference.
