We must not forget the Mourinho factor here. It is clear the player wants to leave but it is also very possible that Mourinho is pressuring the club to sell him so he can spend the money to get the players he wants.

Getting pogba at 12m a year post-tax is too much. It is going to saddle us with more debt and more importantly break the wage structure, potentially sewing seeds of unrest in the dressing room. I wanted him to come and this is not worth it.
