The Champions League Semi-Final draw has got a few of you comparing the strengths and weaknesses of both teams and which players match up against each other. So you may as well tell us your FCB/FCB combined XI (all competitions).
Please remember that we are going by THIS seasons performances only, and not the players' general ability throughout their careers.

I don't know much about Bayern's other CBs, hence the question mark.

As good as Alaba has been, he's not been better than Alba. Neuer still makes more errors than Valdes even with a stronger defensive unit!!

Pique (for example) hasn't been that great this season, but putting Busquets (who, while probably the best DM in the world, sucks at CB) there over him? Seriously?

And I don't know about Bayern's other CBs, but I doubt they're that bad considering Bayern's defensive record, especially in the Bundesliga...

No injured players (Busquets and Messi are exceptions, as they can play but perhaps not at 100%).
Neuer is the player closest to making the line-up, Xavi is second. The central defense looks the way it does partly due to the large amount of injuries both teams have to deal with. Finally Schweinsteiger can drop down alongside Busquets if needed.

Considering Messi was able to play against PSG and his recovery time was said to be 10 days, I'm pretty confident he'll be at 100% for the Bayern game. I don't know much about Busquets' injury, so I won't comment on that.

I did say in my post I was cheating by putting Busquets at CB. He deserves to make a combined 11, but so does the front six. Don't rate Boateng or Van Buyten.

In real life you wouldn't make that choice, but it's all fun on here.
