Aymeric Laporte

President of FC Barcelona
His former coach Pierre Mankowski:

“He does not engage with the group. He is a loner.
“When he communicates, it may seem awkward, because he has a great perception of his value and he shows it. In the end, he’s a good pro who has trouble integrating into the group.”

What’s more, reports claim sources close to the Man City dressing have said Laporte can be “aloof” and “arrogant” at times, despite the fact he has made friends at his new club.

Basically a not so social dude that knows he's pretty good and talented, but ultimately also totally professional.

Guess in a team that dabs and does Fortnite Take the L dances all day long he doesn't fit in too well.

Basically De Gea of CBs

Modern popculture is absolute cancer. Lowball manchild personality types like those dominating the French NT would have been chewed out without mercy in the age with no instant gratification.

Laporte maybe a guy who's not really sociable but I highly doubt he would be some dressing room cancer either.

Considering his performances for City, that alone should qualify him for a call up for France ahead of a number of dudes such as Sakho, Rami, Zouma etc.

World Class. Everyone who told me Laporte was overrated years back where are you

Too bad about his injury. He was going to establish himself as a starter for France if Deschamps had given him a proper chance instead of calling up his favorite plebs like Zouma.

The only reason he wasn't hyped like other players was because he stayed at Athletic at a time several top teams wanted to sign him.
