because cruyff, maradona, romario, ronaldo, rivaldo, ronaldinho all played for liverpool and not barca. the last time you guys were relevant was 1980s.
you were a selling club. for instance you sold Ronaldo to İnter. Did you remember? Then you replaced him with Rivaldo.
did you see hall of fame of us? google it and take a look at it.
We will keep Coutinho, so PSG and you can dream on. Got it. be happy with Dembele and Paulinho.

selling club lmao. did you think we found those players in a farm. your best player ever, kenny or slippy G don't even come close to anyone in barca's hall of fame. enjoy your 1 major trophy in last 10 years.

EPL clubs love to over-estimate themselves. If I had to rank the best teams from both leagues it'd go like this:
1. RM
2. Barca
3. City
4. Atletico
5. United/Chelsea
6. Chelsea/United
7. Sevilla/Tottenham
8. Tottenham/Sevilla
9. Liverpool
10. Arsenal/Valencia
EPL teams always seem so glorious in their own league but then mostly get their asses handed to them in Europe, from teams that they would be 'insulted' to get compared to. It's a harsh reality for them to accept but it's the truth.
And this is even in a season after EPL spent near billions of euros importing talent from overseas to raise the level of their best teams, while the best non-Barca/RM liga teams have gotten weaker for the most part. If this was anywhere between 2013-2017 (first half) then the list would be even less kind to EPL teams and Atleti would easily have won the EPL if they were in it. Sevilla even would've finished around 3rd in the EPL during any of their Europa winning seasons and in their best form under Sampaoli.

Think you are over estimating Sevilla and dont think they currently have better side than Liverpool or Spurs.
Man Utd and Chelsea have got better and very little between those sides and Atletico at moment in my opinion.
I think the top English sides have closed the gap a bit and Barca/Real will have tougher games against them than in previous years if get them this time round.
La Liga is the best due to having top teams but the lower la liga teams are some poor stuff.
