Unlike what happened last summer, when the English media did not give any chance to FC Barcelona to end up getting the services of Philippe Coutinho, this time they begin to see more and more his departure from Liverpool. Coinciding with the presence in London of the two representatives of the Brazilian crack, Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci, the British press already spoke strongly of the movements of the club 'network' to look for a substitute to Coutinho. The final negotiation between clubs is already underway, as Mundo Deportivo has learned and the favorable outcome for FC Barcelona may be sooner rather than later although Liverpool wants to get more out of it.

From FC Barcelona the secrecy remains after Nike published an ad on its website on the 31st to personalize the Barça shirt with the name of Coutinho free of charge. It is precisely because of that unforgivable slip that Liverpool is upset and demanding more money from the offer of 110 million fixed plus 40 in variables that this newspaper published on the cover of January 2 and from which several British media echoed. During the afternoon of yesterday the rumor spread around Barcelona of the reservation of date and day to celebrate this week the presentation of a new player in the Camp Nou. MD could not confirm this extreme.

Contacts in high places

President Josep Maria Bartomeu and CEO Òscar Grau are at the forefront of direct negotiation with the owners of Liverpool. The contacts have been permanent in recent weeks, as reported yesterday by Miguel Rico on our back cover. Coutinho, who is looking for a house in Barcelona, is on the lookout with the confidence that finally the club 'red' will keep his word. Also in Anfield they resign themselves to losing their star and Jürgen Klopp has been opening the door for days.

-Get Coutinho and Mina.
-Sell Deulofeu, Gomes and Arda.
-Let Mascherano leave.

A fantastic winter transfer window.

TBH barca isn't in the desperate position they were in last year because everyone thought barca was doomed, especially after Neymar leaving.
