One of the best players in this WC seen over the whole tournament.

He was up there for best player had they gone through . Unlucky with that first own goal .

It was actually his poorest game so far and still managed that great assist .

Interesting to note that he holds the record for ground covered in this year's competition ..

It was a good performance after all. He's job was to connect defense and attack, and hold the ball when needed, and so he did. Brazil puts Belgium under pressure all game.
He was the game's leader in passing (76 passes - 90% successful). He lost some silly balls few times due nervousness, but the contribution to the team engine was undeniable.

I deleted my post earlier but it seems like it was real.

MD claims that PSG sent one of Coutinho's agents a 270 Million euro offer but PSG thinks we will tell them Clause or GTFO like the Neymar deal. Good thing Coutinho's clause is 400 Million euros ehh. 220 was already steep with Neymar but 400? Oh boy good luck with that.

Hell naw.

Only Suarez for Mbappe, if we do anything.

Suarez for Mbappe?

Are you serious now?

A proven world class striker that bagged over 50 goals+assists for an inconsistent, over hyped kid that finished 13th in Ligue 1 scoring despite starting almost every match on the best team in a one team farmer's league?

Sorry if you find Suarez a bit sore on the eye but he produces results. Mbappe may have some tricks and flicks, but he produces little of substance. I'm sure you took his performance against a shambolic, dysfunctional Argentina side as a reason why we should buy him.

Suarez is currently everything that barca fans accussed cr7 of. Doing nothing in the game and trying to score tapins and easy chances all game. Suarez brings nothing to the table except finishing off those close range chances. Mbappe is by a mile better than suarez right now.

"Mbappe is by a mile better."

Based off what exactly? One good match against a shambolic Argentina in the World Cup?

The kid couldn't even crack the top 10 on the scoring charts in Ligue 1 with PSG despite playing the vast majority of matches as a sure fire starter. If that's what you consider a mile better than Suarez I have some bad news for you.

The hype train is already in full force for this Mbappe kid who's numbers are mediocre in a farmer's league and fails most of the time against well drilled defensive sides.

There is no such thing as a tap-in in top flight football. The reason why the likes of Suarez and Ronaldo get so many seemingly easy chances is because of their incredible off the ball movement. Do you think the other team is is just deliberately leaving them wide open to score?

Suarez has been good for an average of 40 goals in all competitions in his time here. Everyone loves trashing him but you see how bad we miss him when Paco plays in his place.

Mbappe's passing is mediocre as is his pure dribbling ability. He gets by on his pure pace and acceleration with a bunch of skill moves that he usually only pulls off against tactically naive teams that play wide open with tons of space. His scoring ability is good for a young player, but not nearly good enough to be the main striker at a club like Barca.

The step up to La Liga is a big one. Dembele looked like a world beater at Rennes at 18 and Dortmund at 19, but has looked like a fish out of water for most of his time here. We can throw away a proven player that delivers for another undeveloped kid that is hyped up by the media more than his ability warrants, or we can go with proven commodities.

The golden generation isn't coming again and Barca isn't a developmental club.
