Xavi renews until 2016

Barca legendary midfielder Xavi Hernandez will be a FC Barcelona player until 2016 after he signed his contract extension with the Catalan club today.
President Sandro Rosell, vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta were all present at the signing ceremony.

At the age of 33 he's still indispensable part of the team. To the point where he's played more than younger guys like Iniesta and Cesc.

The great thing is that his style of game won't be affected too much by a loss of speed and strength even. I think if his stamina can keep up while he ages (and this is quite feasible), then we have years of great play left from the puppet master. :)
