Roberto Soldado

I'm glad he put his Spurs nightmare behind him. He's one of those players you simply can't hate. Always working hard and giving his best, it didn't quite work out for him in England, it's good to see he started well back in Spain.

I wasn't joking, I was wrong.

That's what you get when you try to figure out a play through a gif. I couldn't pause the video and mistook Soldado for the guy who was already offside.

Ahhh, gonna say he was miles onside ! Pinpoint assist too..... :D

Nice how he was trolling the Spurs for years.

Whenever I watched Spurs with Soldado, it looked like he was all alone out there, a technical La Liga linkup player with a typical EPL direct box-to-box team. Doesn't surprise me he's doing well back in his element.

Now, if Suarez could improve his first touch even half as much as Soldado did in that assist...

It's confirmed that he'll miss 6 months. I was never a fan of him but he's an important player for Villarreal. We'll see if they'll buy another forward now. Maybe we can loan them Munir if/when we get a new forward.
