Yeah I am also curious as to what injury he has?

I was so hyped about him before he got his injury. He was so good. Thought we had a world class player solidified for 10 years. How quickly things can change....

I think the gist is: the cartilage in his knee is fucked.

It's not something that can be fixed at this point. He has to work around it and will be inhibited by it for life, given current medical options.

Yeah I know that. But what's his status now? Saw that he did part of the group session.

Araujo is out 3-4 weeks. I guess Umtiti won't return before then.

A vegan diet isn't going to regenerate the cartilage in his knees.

What he needs to do is adapt his game to accommodate his reduced athleticism. So far he's tried to play the same way he used to and it doesn't work.
