Friendships within the squad?

It might be a somewhat stupid question, but I was wondering what are like the "clans" among the guys in the squad? Obviously Pique and Puyol are known to be close friends, then Cesc and Pique, as well. One would think that Messi and Mascherano would be tied by their nationality, as well as the Brazilian guys, etc. Does anyone have some further insight?

Pique, Puyol and Cesc are so close that there is speculation as whether it goes beyond friendship. Of course, Rafina and Thiago. Xavi is friends with Casillas, which causes Casillas some problems with his team and coach. Messi always says that all he does away from the team is think about and prepare for the next game or practice, so he's not a real sociable guy.

Since the composition of the squad finished getting fixed after Pep's second year, the players say they all get along really well. They train or play at least 6 days a week for over 9 months a year, and I think they still eat a meal together after practice every day. So, even for those who don't pal around much with their teammates outside of team functions, they spend a lot more time together than most friends do.

The Catalans are basically a clique. Especially the younger ones, Puyol is like their cooler older friend. Pique and Cesc are in love with each other. Pique - Cesc - Puyol = the bros.

Xavi is something of an exception. Since he doesn't go out and party all the time, he's closer to Iniesta, Villa and Busquets

Iniesta and Valdes

Messi and Alves. Messi and Mascherano. Messi and any Argentine or Brazilian who passes by.

Poor Alexis Sanchez has nobody, because nobody can understand that Chilean accent.

Pinto and everybody
