Alexis Sanchez

Dude....Seriously

Just read through his thread. Everyone thought he was incredibly frustrating while also being a very good player, but still.....goddamn he was frustrating. Slippery Sanchez.

For some people the grass is always greener on the other side though.

Better than Neymar right now-

Better than neymar messi suarez cr7 if we want to be honest (at this moment).. still no regrets whatsover about his departure.. we got a beast in suarez.. and sanchez was not half the player he is today.. he was a good dribbler and an agile player.. but god was he an awful decision maker.. and his finishing was non existent. Not to mention slipping all the time as mentioned above.. to top it all , instead of using his great dribbling skills to be as vertical as possible ( like nowadays ) he would dribble a player , stop and then wait for the defender to go back again..
Im glad he finally channelled his great attributes at arsenal , such a tremondous and - especially - a humble player.

The thing is that, as many of our recent transfers, he was not suited to the style our coaches wanted to play... We have signed so many players just to play them out of position and/or to misuse their skill set that it stopped being funny a long time ago...

However, didn't Alexis play out of position? On the right? Especially after Neymar was bought.

I wonder how he would have developed if he was given the LW role consistently.

Sanchez + Suarez would be pretty cool right now. But I'm perfectly happy with Neymar, just wish he would step up some more.

Ironic that he was sold right after his best season for Barca though.

Thats true be in the end it was the right decsiion, to thrive he needs to largely operate in the spaces Messi takes up. At barca it was like he boxing without gloves on, he never was never able to fully unleash and play to his full potential.

Sanchez has definitely improved since moving to Englad but I would never take him back. All I remember from his time here is a lot of slipping, falling, and missing clear-cut chances. He just lacks the mentality to play at an elite club.

The thing with Alexis is he needs freedom to express his skills. In Udinese he was biggest star of the team, when he came to Barca he was good but we had better players than him at the time. Now in Arsenal he is also the best player beside Özil. That was his major problem why he wasn't a success in Barca.
