Not sure he will win the Balon D'or, he has been pretty average and Portugal were much better without him and had their best performance in the final when he went off. Messi needs to start next season white hot to sway it back his way.

Serious? They were headless chickens without him and wouldve lost 3-0 easily without some decent luck and Patricio going god mode.

Which is what infuriates me about Argentina. Their talent is probably 20x more than Portugal yet here is Portugal winning Cristiano a trophy while Argies fail each time.

So Messi lost 3 copa america and 1 WC at penalty and extra time with massive choke by Higuain and Palacio.

Ronaldo win 3 CL and 1 EUROCUP at penalty and extratime, 2 of them after crap game and 1 even without playing.

This is fucking unbelievable, somebody up there loves Ronnie and hates Leo.

World cup is one thing, but dont they play copa America every single year these days? Would be embarassing not to win that one once, seriously.

Somebody up there hates Argentina. 7 finals in 23 years, lost them all. 3 finals in 3 years, lost them all. No team can ever touch this record.
