Yikes lol. Her name is Homare Sawa. And you should watch how the Japan WNT win matches except vs. the US, and you'll understand why she won that year. I'm not saying that Homare Sawa is better than Marta (she most definitely is not; though nobody is notably good on the WNT except their manager compared to the US players), but she's one of the reasons why they play tiki-taka vs. not the US.Only because of the Cannavaro effect. Just because that Japanese girl, who's name we all don't even know, won the world cup doesn't mean she's better than Marta.
