5-8 goals  from which chances? It’s like saying Atleti could have conceded 15 despite most of them being poor execution from difficult angles.

Defending wasn’t too poor at all. Giving the ball away in own third was.

Watch the game mate. City were wasteful af. Sterling alone could have 4 goals. Courtois was actually great yesterday. De Bruyne gave 9 key passes, more than the entire Madrid team (8).

Not really. 7 shots on target, almost all saved well by Courtois (who actually had a relatively poor game in distribution and slept on the 2nd goal a bit), more blocked and any of those missed were half chances at best. Not true to claim defense had a poor game defensively. Average. Not poor.

let's not get carried away, cules. this madrid side is definitely ahead of us right now. the margin isnt immense, but its true. they beat us twice in the league this year and they took away the title. had ramos played against city, he might probably have scored a header. our own side needs much improvement, so we are in no position to go overboard in laughing at madrid (even if it feels great that they were eliminated). we might eat our own words against napoli today, and, if we do not, i am terrified of what bayern might do to us next round. lets be humble

Still blows my mind to this day that Real Madrid spent nearly 400m on Hazard, Jovic, Vinicius and Rodrygo.

Vinicius and Rodrygo are young and are up and down, it would be harsh to call them flops.
Hazard and Jovic to a certain extent, are established players who should do better.

Real didnt beat Barca twice in league and the game at Bernabeu Barca had plenty chances to go ahead.

Games were fairly even if anything Real were better over two but not much.

Had Ramos not have been red carded Real would most likely have been 3-1 down from first leg.

Except they didn't beat us twice in the league...

Some of you guys have your Luft glasses on. It's doom and gloom with Barca yet you search for every little positive about RM. Us being shit at the highest level doesn't mean RM are not another flavor of shit.

Didn't say they were flops, dawg.

But it's a little baffling that you spend so much money for both those Brazilians and yet one is benched and the other is the first to be withdrawn as a sub in a CL match, dawg.

Sure, but you might as well add that Barca were lucky to escape with a draw at Camp Nou.
