Madrid’s Kryptonite. GOATverde in 2nd with 9 wins too :worthy:

Just goes to show what a clown club it is.

- Always losing against Valverde :valverde:
- Makes players like Rakitic and Roberto shine whenever played against :rakitic:
- Gets pounded even without us having Messi, we can hardly beat Granada without him but Madrid are ez squeezy lemon squeezy :messi:
- Suárez having a harder time scoring against Slavia than against the scrubs from the capital lmao :suarez:

If Zidane has the nuts, he MUST play Vinicius-Jović-Rodrygo at Etihad. There is no other scenario I can imagine us getting anything from the game. And this lineup, albeit comprising just 'kids' without experience, has a chance to impact City based purely on the surprise factor. There is absolutely NOTHING to gain from keeping terrible form Benzema in the lineup. There is NOTHING to gain from giving Bale field time when everyone and their mother knows he has zero passion for the club he represents.

Zidane still has the chance. A bleak one, but it is there. But there can be absolutely no half-measures. Get the kids out there, let Valverde run forward, bench Modrić, do not even think of going to Marcelo as an offensive outlet, play Kroos or Isco. This can be redeemed, chances are 25% max, but it can be done on the back of unpredictability and hunger to prove oneself. Only the new kids have that.

They spent nearly 350m on attackers in the past two years (Hazard, Jovic, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Mariano, Diaz) and these players combined can barely break the 20 goal mark over the past two seasons.

Only club capable of making our horrendous galactico policy in recent years look reasonable.

Madrid played much better tonight just like the past couple of seasons. We managed to get the results back then but not this time. We were close though!

Congratulations!
