As if. There's nobody to replace.

Tho TBH to Madrid it won't make a difference. We're not winning anything with that team this year.

It wouldn't surprise me at all tbh.

Teflon Flo isn't going to sit around and watch the beast he created turn into a teddy bear. And he definitely knows there isn't an outstanding team in Europe this year. Pretty much anyone is there for the taking should a dominant team arise this season, which Madrid can certainly become under a proper manager.

Teflon Flo isn't one to pass up a big opportunity. He knows securing La Liga/CL or even both will be worth sacking Lopetegui.

Well, he should have invested more in tranfers if he really wanted us to continue winning big trophies. No one will turn this squad into 16/17 RM all of the sudden.
A big part of the blame also goes to him, though Lope probably isnt the right manager for us.

It is really our blessing that Bale stayed fit during the summer, so Hazard wasn't an option for RM. Man, he is good, and he really could make a difference for them, Bale is too up/down because of his injuries.

Bale was fit since December 2017, only moody as fuck until April came around when he realised that he needs to up his game or he will get sold to the highest bidder from the UK, particularly since Cristiano (and possibly Modrić) wanted a payrise.

These two knocks and thigh problems they pick up is the recurring trend since Pintus was our fitness coach after Zidane appointed him in summer 2016. He destroys their bodies in pre-season and seems to make them vulnerable to muscular problems in early campaign, but it reaps dividends in late season where almost everyone stays fit and keeps continuity when it matters most. If you look at the record, it's Marcelo and Carvajal's third season in a row where one or both of them have been out for one reason or another. Kovacić was injured pretty consistently in autumn too. Isco on and off. Benzema on and off. Varane, Ramos... I don't think there was one player bar Cristiano who managed to get through all autumns without having some sort of discomfort over the past 2-3 seasons.

Bale is of course a whole another story with his mental approach to injuries, fear of recurrence creeping in.. but his approach to the game has changed over summer. We will see whether his mental resilience remains after this run of games. TBH I think he will be good. In the last game he played after picking up a knock against Atletico, stayed on, reinjured something but still tried to get through the game and even managed to convince himself to take a free kick, only after that he got subbed off. Shows his mental attitude has changed. He should be better.

Ah yes Lope the guy who took Spain to an unbeaten 20 game run and people think he isn't a good coach.

Look what Zidane did to Madrid in the league with Ronaldo in his final season he knew just how difficult of a task the job was with no Ronaldo.

If the board sack Lope we would be crazy not to hire him his possession style suits us perfectly.

Our lucky CL-victory overshadowed what was an otherwise terrible season, we didnt really improve the squad this season,so it was kinda obvious we would struggle. You could say that Lope has been set up to fail, really, but the team being on 4 games without a single goal is unprecedented.

FFS Lopetegui couldn't you scrape some results until you got Madrid knocked out of CL? Now he'll defintely get sacked soon (maybe after the Clasico)

Looking at Mourinho's United its clear Valverde=Mourinho with luck. Real and Atletico flopping hard hides his failings

Waiting for Wolfe to defend Lopetegui now

Edit: Madrid score. Please Lopetegui do something to stick around until Madrid's CL exit
