His link up play is still brilliant and he and Messi have an understanding on that right hand side.

That last two games he has been used to come inside and out number the opposition and not just be left to his own chanel on the right wing where all he seems to do is charge up and down and cross the ball.

Still by far the best full back in the squad and has to be kept.

He had two great long balls/deep crosses into the box that could've been assists with better finishes. It's funny how he hits better crosses with the outside of his foot 15 metres behind the box than from the byline :lol:

He needlessly gives the ball away by trying to dribble and/or being over-confident. His cross/pass to Messi for his header was brilliant.

Deadly when he moves centrally because he is such a great passer. Very underrated pass for the first goal. Stabbed it into Messi with the outside of his foot when 3 defenders were closing him down and 3 people were around Messi. Montoya can never ever do that.
