Would you not say he's already fulfilling his potential? He's the best in the world in his position and he's probably in the top 5 players in the world. He's never going to be Messi.

He wasn't as good in the second half. But he was involved in both goals, and could've created another had Rakitic finished the rebound from his shot.

Hot and cold... If you want him to just keep the ball and nothing else, then you might as well sell him... He's a risky player, he tries things, and when he's producing 5 or 6 truly world class moments in a game I think occasionally losing the ball can be excused. One time he might lose the ball...

Watching it back, and his assist for Messi's first goal was world-class. Awareness and composure in a crowded area, ball came in at him unexpectedly, but he redirected into Messi when surrounded by Valencia bodies. Made it look easy, with his weaker foot as well.

The most overrated player of this generation. And an egomaniac. I don't know how any one can respect him after the 2014 Champions League Final. How he didn't become a laughing stock after that is beyond me. Went on to repeat those antics this year, twice. Sickening.
