    Seydou Keita

Seydou Keita - the secret weapon of Barca this season? Ibra, Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Pedro/Bojan, Alves.... the defenders are occupied with keeping an eye on these players and then Seydou Keita comes running towards the goal from nowhere@the midfield and scoring another golazo. The second...

    Seydou Keita

Would be hilarious if he could score almost as many goals as Samuel scored last season. Yes I know, he's not a striker, but it would be fun if it happened. Go Mali!

    I need the truth !!!

Never forget Lluis Companys In central Barcelona, near the metro Arc de Triomf, there a street named after him and there's a memorial dedicated to him where I took this photo. It's his wife by his side. Q: So what has this to do with football? A: In Spain everything is associated with football.

    I need the truth !!!

Real Madrid was not a fascist puppet before the civil war, during the civil war or immediately after the civil war. The club took that role in the mid-fifties, just like you wrote. I have never accused RM to play any part of the Fascist take-over in 1936-37. I'm sure there were many...

    I need the truth !!!

Yes most of the people of Madrid and Barcelona were against Franco. It doesn't take much intelligence to see and know why 98% of the inhabitants of Barcelona were against him. And in Madrid the cries were No Pasarán, they will not take Madrid! This could have been legend material if "they"...

    Bars, restaurants in Barcelona

There's one small bar at a backside street of Camp Nou, you have to go half around the place if you're at the main entrance. It looks like a place where the people are 190% culé, if you wear a white shirt on matchday they will kill you. Try that one. But I'm not sure it's open that special...

    Henrik Larsson

The news is that Larsson could take a course of football managing next year in Scotland, the same kind of course that Ferguson and Mourinho have taken before. I'm trying to find more information about this course. Is it any of these? http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_football.cfm?page=778

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Yes Messi was tired, almost exhausted mentally, after Argentina's qualifiers. The criticism he has received, while at national duty, has clearly affected him the wrong way. He's not used to play below expectations and then also being ridiculed about it in the press. His short brilliant...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

If we talk about rating players I always keep an eye on what the local papers gives them. Messi got a 2 yesterday, which means he was below expectations This is his grades there during the 10 games of the season: - (he rested) , 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2 4 is outstanding, 3 is good, 2 is...

This thread needs a Metro Map, the Blue line L5 is my favourite line.

    Transportation in Barcelona. Metro,bus,taxi..

It's perfect to stay somewhere in Eixample, like near Sagrada Familia. The Metro goes directly to Camp Nou, it's beautiful... well most of central Barcelona is, and you could stay away from las Ramblas during the late evenings if you don't live thereabout.

    Transportation in Barcelona. Metro,bus,taxi..

On a recent Monday night, the last metro from the stations near Camp Nou left at 1 am. So you have one hour after the game has ended to chill if it is a late match. My advice is to let the first two metrotrains fill up with the 1000s that are going home this way and then take the third train...

    24 - Thomas Vermaelen

I like Verm of course, but he's not completely 'gelling' with the other players in the defence yet. No worries, it will come. Apart from that he's the leading goalscorer in a team that have scored most goals of all PL-teams. 24 in 7 games. And he has scored 4 of them + a couple in Champions...

    Nickname for Dmitro

Yes it's ok. But it's mostly for people who know how to pronounce catalan spelling. But the worldwide use of Dima is also ok, his babushka probably calls him Dima. Let's see what the catalan press will call him, probably Txigo, and then go with that.
