AGAIN: strategic squad planning, cost/benefit/risk analysis, tells anyone it's better to sack a coach that has some months of future than sell on the cheap a long-term asset

JUST IN: If a club comes in with a €45M offer for Vitor Roque, Barcelona will accept that & look for another forward with that money. If Roque leaves on loan, then they will look to bring in someone else on loan to fill the spot.

I hope for the sake of everyone that his agent can get us such an offer.

They should give it a rest in terms of signing such young players. The club has enough to develop. Should focus on 23-28 years old players the most.

His last club sells him for 35M, he fails massively and you want 45M 😀 even Bartomeu would not offer this much in the situation.

The good thing is that you will get the maximum possible, because Xavi assessed him fast and I am pretty sure that he assessed him fine. If he was going to stay one more season you would not get more than 7/8M

Barca finds new ways to waste money. Don't you have scouts for the very reason of assessing these guys? If he can't play because he has a bad first touch shouldn't that stand out 1000 times on video or in person?

We spent like 30m+ on this guy for no reason basically? When that money is important as hell and we have massive team construction issues at DM and LW or even RB?

Not to mention has he even really been that bad? I don't think so. I almost feel like Xavi is being extra petty and honestly he gets what he deserves next year.

He is bought for 30M and the rest is add ons that he won't make if he is sold.
30M should be gettable, at least according to his agent. No one quote the minimum amount they want to the press

Yeah.. I don't think I'm going to trust Xavi's judgement on players when he wasted money on Ferran fucking Torres
