Negative Thinking Cules

One thing that I don't like is the fact that Madrid has solidified itself as the destination for top young talent in the last few years...

Not that I blame kids born post 2000's for not picking us, most of them grew up to watch Madrid 3peat the UCL and to keep winning even more in the mid 2020's with a new young core.

Menawhile we have disgraced ourselves for a whole decade, and the prestige/dominance of the Pep years is a distant memory these days. New generations have just never watched a glorious FC Barcelona in their lives, they only know the joke institution we have become.

Sad.

Young players went to RM when we were the more successful club and had Messi, like Vini & Rodrygo along other names.
Young players are driven by 2 main things: Money and a route to play.
Barca currently can't outbid anyone and moreover can't promise first team as we can't register anyone this day.
Plenty of things gets fixed the moment you can spend money, and we will be able to judge strategies properly.

Real Madrid are going to get the best player in the world next season and possibly the next best manager in the world in Xabi Alonso the season after.

Stunning.

We are getting stuck with Xavi and then Rafa, Araujo as our defender, Pedri-FdJ combo. A 16-year-old in the flanks and a 36-year-old as the sole striker.
Things are looking very bright. Can't wait to win the treble next season.

Just want to shit on xavi and the amigos ( including messi) a bit more . Kroos hangs the boots as a top 5 player in the world, a CL winner and a legit midfielder engine, meanwhile xavi the amigos bitching about "not appreciating our legends " even if it means getting massacred season after season and playing like a real life scarecrow. In their minds they are entitled to be loved and appreciated ad infinitum for some titles they won 5 years prior.

#rotten internal culture

We will never catch up to Real. We will always be seen as the second fiddle. We had a golden generation and the best player ever, which would have possibly bridged the gap. But we squandered it, and at the same time when the Goat was in our team.
We will never get the upper hand like this next 20-30 years.

Brother our president went to jail just for beating Madrid to Neymar

Just be happy we achieved as much as we did

2016-2017: We lost in CL 0-4 against PSG and 0-3 against Juve.

2017-2018: We lost 0-3 to Roma

2018-2019: We lost 0-4 to Liverpool

2019-2020: We lost 2-8 to Bayern

2020-2021: We lost 0-3 to Juve, 1-4 to PSG

2021-2022: We lost 0-3 to Bayern (twice) and Benfica (once)

2022-2023: We lost 0-3 to Bayern.

2023-2024: We lost 1-4 to PSG.

8 years in a row, we cancede a big defeat with at least 3 goals difference.
8 years.

There isn't a single outfield player who played yesterday who was here in the first 3 years (Anfield and before) and only Frenkie was here in the defeat against Bayern.

An entire squad has changed, but same humiliations.
5 coaches, 2 club presidents, Different scenarios, 12 big defeats.

Legacy.

Don't forget 2013 vs Bayern.

It's our DNA at this point I'm afraid. I blame Jordi Alba.

Could be worse. Could be a stan for MIKEL STARTETA

Not at all. Pretty much the entire Arsenal fanbase is happy with Arteta.

Took Arsenal from 6-8th placed finishes to one of the best teams in Europe.

Better team than Barca too these days, which wasn't the case before he took over.

Best EPL team this season.
All knowledgable football world knows and saw that.
Let the clowns in their ignorance.
Ignorance is bliss
