You wanted Koeman out in his first season already, with a much inferior squad
despite playing better football for 3 months towards the end of the season
But Xavi should be given another season, despite the shitty football and 3rd position and No titles

Don't reply, I am not in the mood to hear your apologist BS

What are you talking about?

In the first season he had Messi, Griezmann and Dembele. And I didn't want him out.

In the 2nd season he was 9th after 10 games or so.

How long will he be coach for us ?

Worst case is until 2026 when Laporta will get the boot

Good case is until few months in the fall, after shitty results and football.
But no top coaches might be available and willing to take over then

You wanted him out, I remember very well. Stop lying you hypocrite

oh yeah, he had messi, Griezman, and coutinho, all people that can't play together because they play the same position. And he had the obligation to play them
Don't tell me, he was so blessed...

After judging everything , it's pretty much your fault.

You could have said ,, Thanks Xavi , we really appreciate the league title you brought to us last year but sadly you're not made for this job yet , maybe somewhere in the future " and we would have been all set.

Instead you cursed him all the time and now he'll be with us for 2 more years.

Good job chief , quite the job u did.

Koeman kept his job for the 3 good months in his first season thanks to some tactical switches. Never forget Messi was still on the squad.

Then Koeman got sacked for the funeral 3 months post-Messi period. Basically doomed out of CL in group stage and mid-table in La Liga. Laporta had the target on his back from day one. Not his appointment. Despite being Cruyffismo guy.

Xavi reversed his resignation after the positive feedback for the 3 month good run, reaching 1/4 stage of CL, at one point the masses believing PSG can be eliminated.

Next November will be key.

Good try. But no. I wanted him gone after he got us to 9th in the league after 10 games and in danger of missing top 4. Of course, bottling the league at home vs Granada and away to Levante was disappointing in the previous season.

I mean he had 300 milions to finish 3'd like Xavi or just 30 to replace the whole defence, Suarez, Griz, Messi? And how you expect him to replace players while Laporta kept telling the plastics Messi is going to stay at Barca? I am not a fan of him but he did his job well. La Liga was lost because Atletico was on fire with buying the refs and he played Umtiti, Roberto and Pique, if not Lenglet if I am not mistaken. They kept playing for Atletico.
But to be honest Real should have been 1'st. Barcelona had only Mingueza and Aruajo to play for 6 useless bums.
By the way what happened with Mingueza under Xavi? Never heard of him, probably assasinated.
And how many points lost by Koeman Xavi recuperated befor winter or after? You did your math?

Danger of missing out on top 4
like in OCTOBER:lol::lol:

The bottling was disappointing indeed, but the fact we were even in the conversation for the league THEN was due to his changes that resulted in amazing 3 months of football

PS: Don't make me look up your posts from back then. I remember you wanted him out shortly after he took over

Koeman was not doomed out of CL, what are you talking about? He didn't even manage to play matchday 3.
And Laporta's buddy and Xavi that took over gave some shocking displays, much worse than Koeman's, in the remaining 4 matchdays against Dynamo Kiev and Benfica

And no one of you give him the excuse that he had to play those months with players like Jutgla and Braithwaite
Messi left
Griezman left
Coutinho left
Pedri injured
Fati injured
Dembele injured
No CF other than Luuk (Auba still not here)

How was that team supposed to score goals mate?

Xavi killed this guy? He was playing as a fireman for Koeman making us compete for La Liga. Then Xavi takes over, I refused to watch the team for the rest of the season because of Laporta trashing 2 legends to make way for Xaviball and this guy was not there anymore.
How it's possible?

You can bring Pep back or Klopp and the team will get better but still underachieve. And the reason it will underachieve is because the structure and mentality of the club has been self destructive for decades.

The best example of this is that we had the 3 best footballers of all time and we sold 2 of them in their prime ( R9 and Maradona ) and gave the other one a free transfer whilst he was still the best player in the world. Who does that and expects to succeed?

The culture is so destructive that it can only dominate when it has

1). The best player of all time in his prime
2). The best manager of all time
3). The best team of all time.

When that's the criteria for success you know you are doing everything wrong.

We have Sergi Roberto as captain. Our reserve captain is a goalkeeper who gets complacent every time we take the lead. These are the people they decide to appoint to lead the team.

We are the only big team in history that deliberately neglects the most important player on the pitch, the goalkeeper. We have never spent big money on a goalkeeper. We have never had a world class goalkeeper.

Does that sound like a serious club who prioritises success to you? Expect more underachievement, it's in our Barca 'DNA'.

This fool has some 3 red cards and 22 fucking yellow cards.
If he cannot control his own emotions how can he control tactics and the players.
There are plenty of better managers who would come for less pay than Xavi.

Ffs this club is paying Lewa 32 million next season and De Jong 40 million. Consider the return on investment. That is not criminal, thats pure football terrorism .

He's lost the dressing room for sure. I'll be surprised if he lasts beyond December this year. The players clearly look unsure and he keeps throwing them under the bus. Expect Marquez to be his replacement.
