Young player thinks he deserves more playing time, coach disagrees,… it’s the same old story.

It’s not a big fucking deal. That’s the point.
When you pay 40 being crippled by debt it is. Both Guiu and Vitor got no minutes to compete Lewandowski. Xavi is a morron in this sense. I don't give a fuck about his trainings just give theso guys 40 minutes for 15 games and compare their output. He has 4 strikers but he failed to win big games with them.

And don't start with not risking the title, any half brainer knew he won a title by luck and it will be impossible to repeat the stunt with the same UEL team. So naturally you will expect more changes after his disastrous start of a season.
He got lucky with Cancelo and Felix for exiting the group stage. Big luck that he managed to turn in a disaster by believing Cancelo is some wonder weapon against big teams too.

The leak did not talk about playing time.
Rather about how Xavi communicates (NOT) with the player

Well, at least this gets rid of the option of loan

Does not make sense the part where he says "a loan for a young boy will only end up harming him"
The contrary has been the case quite often

But, in general, he has a point: We paid 40m, and Roque rejected better offers.
Yes, the coach HAS to integrate him, and not whine like a 15yr old girl in period that he needs superstarts to compete with Girona

Grow up MORON

Andre Cury (Vitor Roque's agent): "Vitor Roque and I chose to join Barcelona with less than half the offers made by other clubs. We are happy in Barcelona and we want to continue. If this is not possible, we will sit with the President and Deco to find a solution that is good for all parties"

Andre Cury (Vitor Roque's agent): "I don't understand! Xavi gave chances to Fermín, Cubarsí and Lamine, while he didn't give any chances to Vitor Roque."

Andre Cury (Vitor Roque's agent): "Vitor Roque chose Barcelona even though we had other options with double the salary, this is because he wanted to play for Barcelona."

Andre Cury: "It's not been a great season, we've conceded 30 goals since January, 8 against Girona, 9 against Real Madrid and 6 against PSG. This also didn't help Vitor's situation."

Should sell him and see if we can recoup the 30m because Xavi doesn't rate him whatsoever and seemingly hates the sight of him as well

Sorry, do WHAT?
Let an incompetent coach whose days are numbered decide the future core of the squad?
He had once the chance to do that (which he should have NEVER be given) and he blew it

Sorry, Xavi goes before Roque (and Fati or Ferran in fact) any day of the week
He can re-sign Lewa and Roberto in his new club

This summer, but he won't last long unless Laporta reaches whole new levels of braindeadness

Even if he leaves in 2026, the squad planning goes much longer than this

Sure, but it'd be better to sell Vitor Roque if you don't take a loss on him rather than have him rot on the bench or go on a loan which his agent have made clear is not an option.

Besides big teams don't loan out players they sign for a significant amount unless it's to get rid of them. A loan can go south very quickly as you have no control over the player's situation at his new club. Just look at Pablo Torre at Girona. Barca probably thought he'd play a lot there and that they'd take care of his development, but he hasn't really played much at all as their other midfielders have shined.

Well I am not in favor of a loan, since the player clearly has quality and a proper coach (not an amateur) can bring that out and develop him.

Given that this can't happen for one season, let's say, what do you do?
a) sell, splashing all money spent down the drain together with you beating competition to his signing, and enhance a direct rival in europe?
b) Convince him to get loaned
c) let him be even on the bench, as Xavi will leave, and a new coach will have other views on him

I say doing a) is simply suicidal for any club that wants to be serious
Even c makes more sense than a

Geez calm down with the Xavi hate train

Option C is most likely Roque just isn’t very good….
No excuse to not talk to him and freeze him out. League is over. Plenty of chances to give him some game time.

Xavi is just a garbage manager who can't stop making excuses about everything.
