He couldn't have waited that long. The club needs time to plan the new season.

Well the good thing is, that the team lacks mainly things they can improve. The mentality especially. It would have been way worse if the team lacked skills to play football. But we lost the important games because of stupid, inexcusable mistakes. Before them, we competed against PSG and Madrid. Xavi can build on that.

I think it's more complacency, but to be complacent so soon after your first league win, that also reeks of poor mentality.

that period was great but i think it was because players felt like they owed him something which increased their motivation to 200%

now after they know he will stay they are back to their 'normal' level

I see... so... what happens if they get bored very fast of the next manager also?

Just hope the plan is Klopp after xavi, because mentally the team needs a reset.
we we absolutely comfortable before 2-2. the gap between the level of the teams looked huge in our favour and suddenly.. boom.
one mistake and the whole team crumbles and loses control.

Klopp had these moments at Liverpool though. Last season in particular, and to some extent this season too.

A team he managed perhaps for too long. And he must have realised the cycle is over, after wining everything, it happens.
Xavi has the same issue for 3 years.

 Tactics are worth shit if the players are too complacent to do what they are asked.

Tuchel is facing the same situation at Bayern. On course to finish 15 points behind Leverkusen.

Tactics can compensate a bit of players weaknesses

and Leverkusen has been terrific this season, im sure they would have also won ll and pl if they would play there + the late goals

and in cl Tuchel's tactics were key to beat Arsenal

It's not an embarrassment to lose to United. You guys are exaggerating again. The discussion was about the league results anyway.
Against that United, yes it is - we weren't even close. Stop fucking defending Xavi - we should all fucking go to Barcelona and protest in person!
