To be fair it doesn't even need to be La Liga team. Maybe one year in Portugal and than one year in La Liga would be a perfect solution for him. If he is that raw, it's highly unlikely that he will be ready to start for Barca in one year time. Perhaps he needs to go step by step.
I don't mind that tbh.

Sporting could be a good loan for him if Amorim stays. They will surely sell Gyokeres so will need a striker.

This club is so fucking stupid, it hurts. How can a broke club sign an 18 year old average player for 40 million and than decide to loan him out???
The sheer level of dumbfuckery and incompetence is staggering. No wonder we're going no where. The fish rots from the head.
These pesky Catalans are destroying their own club.

It hurts alright, and we've been making these incompetent signings for over a decade now: in a sense Dembele, Song, Gomes (he was over 50M ffs!), Hleb (lol), Chygrynskiy (double lol), Boateng (lol x 3) Keirrison (Rawkes brother from another mother...), Pjanic (wtf), Braithwaite (wtf x 2), Douglas (who? lol), Torres for 60M (haha) and of course the 3 that really fucked us financially and didn't work out for shit Coutinho, Ibra and Griezman
And now we can add to the list a 34-year old for 50M - who fucking BUYS a player that age, they are almost ALL free transfers over 30 (but with huge wages of course) - even fucking MESSI was a free transfer FFS!!! On top of that we buy a fucking nobody from Brazil for 40ish millions with no talent that we gave 200ish minutes and decide to loan out. If he was anything, anything at all, we wouldn't have loaned him out because we don't have a backup 9 and Lewa is 36 ffs!? In other words, he is probably shit. Holy fuck, that's well over half a fucking billion on the most stupid transfers ever in just over a decade!!!??? Pep also played a role with his stupid handling of Ibra who we HAD to sell and lost so much on and we also lost a club legend in Eto'o, and than bald one left next season anyway - bald one has annoyed me since his last season for us...

Edit: I forgot Vidal and Turan, who else? Lenglet was helluva overpriced as well and flopped. And remember when we didn't play Thiago enough games and his buyout was 15M instead of 90M because of that - he needed like 2 more games? I mean come on...

He's not registered from 1st of July for salary cap reasons. Same as Inigo Martinez.

Sounds like he will fight to stay and if the club want to loan him he'd rather be sold lol. Claiming there's a few teams interested in him, Chelsea were linked to him a lot when we signed him so perhaps it's them again.

Won't be surprised if he's sold if they can recoup the 30m fixed fee they paid for him. Rest of it are variables depending on performances + appearances.

If he's sold then it's clear that it's Xavi running the show so any mishaps in the transfer market this summer should be on him.

This is becoming a joke. Play him ffs. I think his good. So far has scored in his little time looked lethal with Fermin at one point. The whole season has been a joke and extremely poorly managed. Im definitely not loaning him out either. We aint fucking Chelsea.

If he's not showing enough to bench Torres, who is a truly average player, then that's a bad sign.

I understand where some are coming from in the sense that Xavi has shown that if a young player is good enough in his eyes, he'll give them a chance, but he also likes a very specific profile of players, so there is that.

But we just have to give him time, if he stays and next season he's not getting decent minutes then alarm bells should start ringing and maybe deco is trash lol

I can't blame him, he fought to come here and he isn't given a fair chance.

If Xavi problem with him is positioning, then he should stay.
He is elite in moving without the ball, but that was in a counter attacking team.
He won't learn how to move in a team that has the ball 60% of the time if he gets loaned to a mid-table team.
Will be the best for everyone in such case to cut their loss and move on.

PS: Him, Inigo, Fermin aren't registered for next year.
Some rumours this is the case for Gavi too

How do you know he isn't given a fair chance? If he's not showing enough in training and the manager is not satisfied with his level he shouldn't play. That's quite fair.

I see the same people still raving about his movement being elite. Ferran Torres vibes  When a guy is terrible you just tell everyone he has elite movement and that's it.

The way I see it:
1. Most people and their dogs said he is just meh, even before being signed. Curious how people that played the game didn't see that.
2. Every big club in this world signs flops. The problem is that we can't afford to sign flops because we don't have other money to sign 1-2 very good players in order to compensate. We needed to get signings right.
3. Once there is talk if loans it's over for that player. Especially in the current context when even a bum like Fermin gets games.
