Exactly. First rule of team sports is protect your locker room at all costs and don't wash dirty laundry in public.

Only then it comes apologizing to the fans. Especially impatient, spoiled and bitchy ones that we have in our fan base.

Alaba is not a top CB, far from it. LB turned CB in recent years who can play out from the back but cannot defend aerially if his life depended on it.

He won't be getting his place back now Rudiger is fully established at Madrid.

Although Madrid have been linked to Leny Yoro who I watched recently as we played Lille twice and have to say he looks like a top CB in the making. So annoyingly Madrid seem to be getting most of their targets spot on.

If Faye isn't him, Yoro or Hato would be a dream signing for Barca. But we have zero funds for either lol

Perez consistently trusts Ligue1. Another annoying thing considering our defensive midfield plight and avoidance of that market.

I was about to say the same thing when I saw it until I realized that Araujo does attempt long passes......I think. So decent stats

What are you trying to say?

Anyone can have 100% pass from CB to CB with no pressure anywhere to be seen.

I rarely see a successful long ball from him, why I ask for his pass % solely on long passes, meaning exclude the short side to side bullshit.

He's been trying long passes especially when pressed hard.

Araujo's long passes are definitely not near the accuracy and consistency of Pique's.

I found it weird he didn’t want to take responsibility even after Gundogans comments.

Even though he is not great on the ball I don’t understand why people want to sell him. Alot of you guys also wanted to sell Kounde a few months ago but he has been great lately. Araujo is a great defender showed it away in Paris also, one dumb mistake shouldn’t be the reason to cash in on him. I recall Sergio Ramos being a total clown in his first few years in Madrid we know how that ended. Stop being emotional. Rather sell Raphinha or Frenkie de Jong.

It's simple. You can sell him to get FFP space to buy other players. IF the offer is top tier though. It's not like you sell him for 60m. The price has to add up to 90-100m.

And contrary to De Jong, I think he'd be more likely to accept a move.

He is a very promising CB, but has some flaws that are quite nasty to deal with. Especially for a team that plans to play from the back.

I'd sell Pedri or De Jong ahead of him. But Pedri can't possibly bring us 80m or so with the level he's showing out there, and De Jong doesn't want to leave.
