Guys we lost against a team with Lunin Cama as left back and Tchouameni central back. Imagine if they were fully available : Alaba Militao and a proper striker. Same comment applied to City losing to Lunin.
It was happened for us last season with Peña as keeper, we lost a lot of matches. Why can we adapt ? Why our players / subs are so bad ?

At 2.2 you have to defend the score, this is the best you can get. And you know Madrid could score a 90 minutes goal. How can they conceide this third goal ? Brahim should be kicked during his run and take a yellow for it.

Poor refereeing decisions have nothing, NOTHING to do with it, and even incidentally referencing it gives credence to that bull shit cover which Xavi devises to assign blame to every single loss.

Other than that, I agree with the points, and I would probably highlight the recruitment as the main problem - if we had any funds, it should have gone straight to a DM instead of trusting Romeu as that option, which hurt us severely.

Letting Dembele go was also damaging but I don't know how much choice we had.

But at the same time, we played a good game away to Real and were hindered by the double mid sub and then the referee.

Im not sure on the nongoal, but I'm sure someone will use AI to prove or disprove it. And LaLiga is an absolute joke for not investing in a decades old technology.

But also, that penalty by Rudiger is as elementary a penalty as it gets. Especially given that the referee already called a basic penalty against Cancelo.

We can't let poor refereeing off the hook despite our inadequacies basically. It would be like saying it doesn't matter Almeria were screwed as they were going to get relegated anyways.

And lastly, what a cretin Tebas is. He has a chance to own the lack of tech and use it as an opportunity to finally wheel it in. Instead he gets his wife to make the french press and search for counter headlines while it is brewing.

So - 1 goal for Real, + 1 red card, plus 1 goal for Barca, 1 penalty.
If this were Real or some english club it would have been 2 weeks on prime time, 40 years on YouTube as evidence of us paying the refs.
If it's us there is no coverage Bellingham and Lucas Dolphin are heroes, a bit of coverage on Cancelo being stupid and that's all.

Basically since Messi left every top side schools us in football with few games as exception.. That win against PSG was just their bad day, not that Barca was actually good.. Our mentality is poor, we struggle against midtable sides wich usually left with 4-5 goals in their net just a few years ago, we can't beat a proper side.. Only thing I'm looking foward is Barca's youth but without a proper coach nothing will improve.. I'm hearing Rafa Marquez will be the next coach, soo in other words nothing will improve much, unexperienced coach who will get schooled by everyone, then there is that financial situtation when we can't buy hotdog and coca cola and again the same as this season.. Bad times awaits us, I don't see anything good in near future while Madrid will probably dominate Spanish football.. They already have top class squad wich will be improved with Kylian Mbappe..

I get the impression of a defeatist mentality watching us play. There is very little enthusiasm around making plays, combinations, trying things out, showing what we can do. It's mostly conservative football punctuated by isolated daring moments.

Maybe you play a offensive pass, but then you don't follow it up with an off the ball run. Maybe we beat the press but then we don't exploit the momentum. We look at each other and no-one really looks like they want it. The movement ends, the ball is played backwards again. A fear of losing the ball, maybe, but also a fear of trying our own limits.

There's no gulf of talent between RM and us but they genuinely seem excited to show their talent.

Too much drama. Barcelona is shit for 12 years, the drfence was shit including Busquets then since Enrique the midfield was shit.
Actually this Barca is the best since 2012.
The defence is solid except Cancelo, the core is solid.
You need an agresive DM or even 2, a clutch 9 and an elite LW to dominate football.
Those are 3 positions to fix. Is not that much and having a solid core is way more important.
If we know that we are so close or we have money is another problem. We should find a new coach but if we bring those 3 players Xavi might drag his feets over the line too with a triple.

I am sure this is a mistyped or something.
There is a Barcelona in 2015 that is on of the most talented sides we ever had. also up until 2017 we were a top top side.
Then we started to slip and get old but please... even 2019 Barcelona would school this side.

Good points. Also one day less rest and 120 minutes away in Europe.

Conditions were there physically to get a win, as in Paris away.

You don't know football and it's useless to debate with people that don't know football.
Barca was shit since 2012, given 2013 was more due to injuries.
They don't have a defence and an elite core since then.
You are all clueless 2015 was totally on MNS and some lucky goals. After they got fat and Neymar became a clown the lack of defenders and the mediocre midfielders were showing up in every UCL big game.
This is not an opinion but facts.
And hsving a core is very important because it gives the attack something to rely on.

I don't think Masquerano is even close to Araujo, and it's just one comparison. A midget slow midfielder played as CB.
:)) Every counter and ball in the box was goal oportunity. We had to bring Suarez in the box to win games. Suarez was 9 and CB.

We are a clown club if we even debate this.

I mean PSG is a close replica. Their attack was too much for us but their core is abysmal. For now Real has the best core since we miss a proper DM but we are not that far behind as some clueless people think. Put Camavinga and Vini in our team and we will murder them.

You know we are crap when crap players like Vasquez is the best man on the pitch

It's a pity that Modric didnt choose Barca, guy is nearly 39 and is still able to perform like that in a big match

Which player from Barca squad would play in Madrid side?

Clearly there is substantial gulf in squad quality. It’s just RM had to many key injuries, and Carlo making dubious decisions. If not for that, La liga would be over already in march.

Honestly i cannot wait to see what Xabi does with this squad + Mbappe.
