This was all too predictable given that the manager publicly announced he gave up on this job in January.

Laporta is a fucking disgrace man.

Should have been let go back then. Results and football were as predictable as anything he did all season.

At least we would have been spared from the sideline clown show.

Even with Xavi going I think there's time to have an honest conversation about the state of this squad. I think we tend to overrate a lot of our players as well.

I think the only position group that we actually have quality + depth at is CB whilst we need competition/depth for FB positions, a starter at CDM and probably a starter at CM too if Frenkie is to be sold. You cannot rely on Pedri's health and him strolling around like a 40 year old Joaquin on the pitch when he's fit.

Lewandowski is washed and our wingers apart from Yamal absolutely reeks with Ferran and Felix being absolute clowns that get hyped up based on one great performance in 10 games. Raphinha is decent and chips in with important goals, but his overall play for the most part is mediocre.

I think he should keep his decision and let the next guy try and take the team to the next level. His cycle is over. He won a league title and got the team close to a CL semifinal after 5 years.

This is bullshit .. Nacho is a starter .. Vazquez can pull something

We had Adriano, Cuenca, Jefferen .. etc ..

A good manager can make something out of monkeys and dogs .. look at Girona

Xavi is shit .. end of discussion

The reason Xavi has to shoulder extra blame us because he was given a free hand when it came to player recruitment.
It's time to go in a different direction. With Laporta at the helm that winter happen. He will insist on Barca DNA, values etc etc and we will be stuck in the same old cycle.

Fluking 1 nil wins for a few months in LL is hardly a "cycle".......

He should go, but there's no elite manager waiting to take us over.

It's going to be Rafa Marquez who might turn out to be good or garbage. On paper he's a downgrade.
