I honestly think that makes it worse.
Gundogan said it right after the game.
Araujo had two days of reflection and is still yapping about it being a 50/50 duel and values and what not.
Yea what Araujo said was BS, he should have just said I fucked up, that's the first thing I tell any new hire at my job, if you fuck up just own it.
I just think he, Kounde and whoever else was hurt because gundogan said it in public.
But there wasn't anything wrong with what he said, he was 100% right

No. The fans are owed authentic public reactions after such shit from the team. You say it to him in private if it's just between you and him. This hurt millions of fans and they need to see that the players understand what is at stake here.
Stop pampering players. They are never going to become top level if they don't understand the gravity of their errors. And Araujo still doesn't have a clue just how he absolutely destroyed a 2-3 years of hard work to get here.

That's almost as bad as the red card itself. If he actually thinks that, the man is dumb as a brick. And it's a matter of time until he does some shit like that again.
Knowing that idiot Laporta, he'll probably move Gundo on. We need that kind of honesty. Too often the club and the players shrug off a humiliation with a pathetic excuse and move on. There have to be consequences and accountability at a big club. At Barca those words don't exist.

As I said in the Araujo thread. At least now we know the bums that are in the team. Gundo goes to the next season, and Araujo gets sold. Pretty simple decision it is now.
