After watching these games, you can hold you head high Mr.

Independent of opposition, no team played better than us with 11 men on the field, No team was setup better than us tactically, over these two legs QF games.

Only city were equal or better than us and that was largely down to having better players.

If you don't see that, stop watching football.
Yea, subbing out Yamal after the red and allowing them to attack relentlessly without any counter threat was a master stroke. Terrible decision and I called it the moment he made it.

Him acting like a 14 year old girl on her period on the sideline just made it all that much sadder. What a horrible influence on the players that is. You're supposed to organize and calm them, calculate the next move. He just acted like a pretentious, whiny little bitch like always.

You also called de jong WC and top 5 in the world, so your calls don't really means that much.

 Lol, you can't separate compartments as if this is a video game. The way an opponent will aproach the PSG midfield is conditioned by their attackling line.

There are so many key factors people ignore. For example, the only players in this team that have any meaningful experience at this level are 33-36 years old.

Efficient pressing for the current side is out of the question vs elite opponents.

Frenkie was very good for us and our best midfielder for a very long time. I wasn't stating he was top 5 in the world, that was Jamdav. So you are incorrect, again.

What I did say, was disagree with you and others at the time that selling our best midfielder made no sense when Pedri was always injured, Gavi was young and inexperienced and Busquets had been trash for years.

He didn't play well, then again he just came back from a long injury and went straight into CL quarter finals. Not ideal.

I was always open to selling Frenkie or any player if it meant replacing him with the right player/s, but we aren't really in the place to do that and Xavi was given a ton of money as it is and didn't plan well with it. I rather not give him more money to spend on players then play them where they aren't strongest or waste 50mil on a 34 year old past it striker.

Top 5 all time? Not even jamdav would be that silly.

If you can't see that taking Yamal out was a huge mistake then you're a lost cause. He was not only pressing more than Lewa but he gave us an outlet to get the ball out from defense and keep them wary of having to defend counters.

Subbing Lewa was the right choice and he didn't make it.

When the game was lost and we started attacking recklessly, PSG was crumbling to the pressure. When we were actually still in the game, we removed the main avenue of applying pressure and our ability to keep them unhinged.

Lewa did nothing for us when we were trying to hang on. Nothing.

Meant to say top 5 in the world in reference to your post obviously, but way to point out an obvious typo and hide away from the rest of reason.

I think the funniest part about all this is all you do is suck Xavi's dick, and all he's given you is 2 years of us us playing some of the worst football in 2 decades, a flook league title and a trophyless season in which 3/4 of it we were playing absolutely awful football. Don't we all LOVE watching Barca defend 1-0 leads every game. What joy! Xavi 2024-2025.

You have no clue mate. Absolutely none. There are some pros for taking Lewa out and keeping Lamal, but also plenty of cons. It's pretty fucking obvious.

Lewa has more experience by a huge difference, better at set pieces, better at hold up play, better finisher by far.

Lol, why am I even arguing against such absurd retarded claims?

You can't sub out Robert Lewandowski in a CL knockout. Period. Why are people on this forum so dumb?

Not one manager on the planet would do that coz they aren't clinically insane. Fuckin Pep(the most powerful manager itw) didn't take off Haaland until he asked for it himself.

Utterly delusional folks here.

Xavi should have subbed Pedri out and played Yamal as an RCM(Pedri is shite defensively anyways) in a 432 formation.

Subbing lewa was the absolute wrong choice, even though he messed up.

Only other option was pedri, if you said that maybe you would have made a good point, but then you lost it.

The only thing we could have potentially done is go two up top. So Guiu or Roque with Lewy and then Raphinha as a pseudo-midfielder.

But Xavi chose Ferran for that role. Small margins.

Two up top would have been madness

There was really nothing to be done. Every option sucked. A DM + physical midfielder could have (maybe) shielded the result... two players we simply didn't have.

Also the reason we should sell Frenkie. He's redundant.
