I see 2 problems:

1) Haaland needs to move more, sometimes it looked like he didnt even try to make runs. In matches like these he needs to be more on fire

2) City players need to pass him more, there were 2-3 moments when a simple forward pass would have created a good chance for him but except Kdb nobody passes to him

It’s not about him being a Crouch, just pure maths. He will get to the ball due to his height and jumping reach. And low crosses too.

Don’t know why Pep subbed him for Alvarez, cause he was more of a treat to Madrid than Alvarez in the game (hit the bar and was a threat in the air)
