Yes he's cost this club millions and ruined any hope to have a successful season.
We were 5-3 up 11vs11 and at home. That's one foot in the semi-final and not to mention we would have been favourites against Dortmund to reach the final.
This was a very good opportunity financially and sporting to compete for the CL. We would have never been favorites to win the CL but to make the final and compete for it was a huge opportunity.
This is up there in the biggest idiotic plays I have seen in my entire life watching football.

He came out on the pitch trying to prove, that all of sudden, he could play from the back. Made a couple of decent long balls and then that terrible pass that caused the play that led to expulsion. I don't know to what extent the merit is on Lucho by preventing Cubarsi from being the creator, but Araujo is not a ball playing CB and I remember feeling uncomfortable much before the red card that he was the one on the ball so much. It cost us dearly in the end.

If Araujo did what he did but stayed on his feet and put his hands up like most high level defenders do after they try to unbalance an attacker in front of them 1v1 with gk it probably wouldn’t even have been a free kick. It was how he fell to the ground straight afterwards that made him look so much more guilty and dramatic than what it was. Honestly if 90-100m offer for him comes through and we take it I wouldn’t even be that sad. Team shows potential but mainly because of a 17 year old Cubarsi and 16 year old Lamine Yamal. Team needs new fresh hungry players and we won’t be able to bring in any unless we sell 1-2 high value players.

Cubarsi was more solid and Kounde was the leader. You can't lead bums and getafe players. Xavi wasted 150 milioans fee and salaries on two players that can't score against though oponents, that is just crazy.
Then Cancelo is good with bums but PSG has a deadly team in attack. An inteligent guy would have used Cancelo and Lewandowski for buying time to get real players. We got Vitor for 40 lol and ignored Guiu, Fort.
It is what it is.
We performed way better considering our team. If Bayern puts 10 milions on Araujo, take it and play Inigo, promote Faye.
We aren't going to win anything with Lewandowski, Ferran, Felix, Yamal and Raphinha. Half a player each and only Yamal has excuses being young, and Raphinha works really hard and earned my respect forever so a good substitute anyway.

Old me would have been sympathetic and given him a chance. But after enduring this team and paperweights in this club for almost a decade, I am done for. Sell every player who has shown any sign of incompetency, sell each one of them who don't show that mental fortitude, I don't care if we can't replace the position, we use our youngsters in that position. Remove each and every one of the management people from the club. We don't have the financial, good, let the young play, they will develop far better than the fucking leaches in the club, we won't have to pay for transfers, we will save on salary, and at least our expectation of the team will be realistic. We need to be ruthless.
