Selling Torres for even 25mil is worth it if it allows us to be able to afford Nico for 50mil. Some people think he's not worth 50mil, yet we spent 55+ on Raphinha. If Nico isn't worth 50, Raphina isn't worth 40. We'd be lucky to have him on LW, and he's only 21.
Ehm buying Nico has nothing to do with how much we paid for Raphinha.
Rather the opposite, we don't want to make the same mistake again of paying too much for a winger who cannot cement his place in the XI, like Ferran and Raphinha.
Nico will probably be the best LW in the squad, but will he be good enough that we don't have to buy a new LW in 2-3 years? I doubt that.
So you're just don't with balde, Pedri and gavi wooow lol
Gavi is there.
Agree that someone like Rodri seems more important to Barca than a LW.

Raphinha for 55M was a very good deal, guy is very underrated here, clubs would pay 70M for what he gives us. We are doing much better after he returned from injury.
Ferran this season looks like he is worth the money, but when he finally played well he gets injured.
As for Nico, 50M isn't bad for him either, this is a fair market price.
But in times of austerity, it is too much for us.

Raphinha last 2 months have actually been very good - but Ferran will never be even near 'Barca quality'. Nico is better and he can dribble very well - we need that from our wingers and Torres can't dribble to save his life.

Wouldn't say Nico is a great dribbler. He's got speed and an eye for the incisive move but he isn't particularly creative or slick.

Pep betrayed us. He could have told Xavi about that fraud's real skills, but he kept quiet.Try to sell Torres for like 30M - but who would take him and would he want to move? City really took the piss with his transfer
I'm also not a fan of Nico for this price. He lacks something to be at the very top and we should stop wasting money on such players, especially with our financial situation. Save money for undisputed starters, look at La-Masia for filler spots.
