I doubt he would accept the role as interim coach, which coach would you like to see at Barca except Pep/Klopp ?
Why wound't he? He is free of contract and nobody is fighting for him, he may very well turn out to be a two season wonder coach, a sort of Di Matteo 2.0.

Apart from them I'd go for Arteta, Conte, Inzaghi, De Zerbi, Michel.

Conte is a terrible, terrible fit for Barca mate.

I'm very very tired of seing only Barca DNA / Barca style managers being hired here and I'd love for Barca to finally understand this is no 2009-2015 era anymore and that they must adapt to modern football in order to become competitive yet again. Hopefully Flick would be a good example in that sense but I doubt it.

Conte is rumoured to have agreed terms with Milan btw.
He is also the kind of guy who blames everyone else and make demands like he is a prime Pep or something.
He isn't going to happen.

Flick would be my 3rd or 4th choice atm
I would go for De Zerbi 1st, and Nagelsman 2nd, out of all the coaches available.
But I would still be excited if we get Hansi

Imagine the difference going from Xavi to Flick...

De Zerbi will be a disaster, the guy has the midtable coach syndrome. He doesn't know when to adjust when teams figure his tactics or the game doesn't go his way. Tactically too limited to make the necessary changes for that.

Brighton super star is their SD not their coaches, people should have noticed that by now.

As for Flick, if he comes then I hope he brings some German physios with him at least. That alone will be improvement

Yes maybe. But it will be a horror show when it comes to playing football. He has no authority, He will be eaten alive within 2 months from the Spanish Media. He had absolutely no clue how to manage Germany national team with all These Players Like Gundogan, Kimmich, Ter Stegen. It was a desaster. They loved him at Bayern because he was everybodys darling within the team being their assistant Coach before. But when it comes to build a team from the start he ist absolutely clueless...what's more he plays high defensive lines which had been torn apart from teams like Japan...and many more mediocre teams. Flick will be the next step even deeper into the grave

Brightons sporting department has changed massively in last few years. There is no one SD responsible to credit in recent seasons. Newcastle/Chelsea etc have come and taken their sporting dept last couple seasons.

The brains behind Brighton is their owner really.

You don't know if someone has midtable coach syndrome unless he coaches a big club
And frankly all this is BS from people who don't want to take a proper risk, that is taken by all clubs who hire a coach that succeeded in the 2nd tier.
They prefer instead taking the much worse risk of hiring legends, who haven't shown any fraction of actual work as credential making them suitable candidates to begin with

Being born in the 1st tier is impossible, and for those privileged that start in the 1st tier directly, it only works if you are called Pep -> that is roughly once every 50 years

De Zerbi does strike me as someone who could become another Villas-Boas at a big club though.

I guess our next manager will be one of these three

-Flick
-Sergio Conceicao
-Xavi U-turn

Not sure what I favour out of that list to be honest. Flick as a lead in to Klopp ideally, but how realistic is that?
