Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

I don't know why this is such a media frenzy. It's not like we'd be bringing back a prime Messi. Or even a 31/32 year old. We'd be bringing back a 35 year old winger in a position we already have 2 wingers. Dembele might be injury prone but is 100% the best RW we have even with Messi here. Raphinha cost us a load of money so I'm not really happy to have him ride the bench or be 3rd in the pecking order.

We're not going to drop Lewa for Messi and nor should we. I'm not Lewa's biggest fan but he did just win the pichichi helping us win the league. And even if we did bench Lewa, what a ridiculous purchase he'd turn out to be for all that money and wages.

Couldn't care less where Messi ends up. Will always be our greatest legend.

🚨🎖️| JUST IN: Joan Laporta doesn't understand why Messi's camp puts no value in his "cross my heart and hope to die" assurance that he will be registered. @0,98%gerardromero

As The Athletic publishes this Wednesday in detailed information, Messi only has two possible destinations with a view to next season: Barça or Inter Miami and the decision, according to senior MLS executives , is 50%. The Messi operation goes far beyond the Florida franchise and involves the entire competition to the point that Inter Miami 's offer would include, always according to The Athletic , it would take a percentage of subscribers to MLS Pass and a percentage of the profits that would report to Adidas his arrival at the MLS. The MLS television rights are in the hands of Apple , which paid $2.5 billion to the American League for a ten-year contract. Apple TV+ , by the way, announced in recent days that it will broadcast a docuseries about Messi 's victory in the World Cup in Qatar with Argentina . Messi 's link with Adidas is also well known, since his relationship with the German brand dates back to 2006. Adidas dresses all the MLS teams (29) through a sponsorship contract that he signed until 2030 for a value of 830 million

Inter Miami has even set the date for Messi 's possible debut with Inter Miami . It would be on July 21 against Cruz Azul in a friendly tournament that would be played at the DRV PNK Stadium in Miami . Jorge and José Mas are the owners of a club that, in addition, would give Messi the option of, once he retires, taking over a percentage of the property.

The facilities of Inter Miami come up against the difficulties of Barça, which has slipped that in the next few hours it will make a formal offer to Messi . According to Mundo Deportivo , Jorge Messi already knows how far the Barça club could go. At the moment, Messi 's father has not recognized any offer from the Barça club, which, like Miami, is looking for imaginative formulas to attack the transfer. However, LaLiga is not going to make it as easy as MLS . It is, obviously, another type of competition, and for the moment it has given the green light to the feasibility plan, but it has left the Barçain the norm of 40%. That is, of every million euros that comes out, Barça can only use 400,000 euros. This complicates the signing of the Argentine who, however, dreams of playing for Barça until the last minute .
