Edinson Cavani

El Gato

Villarato!
Last post in this thread before today? 7th October, 5 days after transfer. And now all of a sudden he's better than Lewandowski.

Some Cules are just too much

Cavani is nowhere near Lewa but I never understood why people considered him that shit. He seemed like a good player in the finisher role.

They are very close. Lewy has also had a long-time reputation for missing in big games. He now won his first CL with a Bayern side that are constantly in the final four of the competition. Neither is a great dribbler or the Paciest. Edinsons workrate is better as well as his heading. Finishing? Had Edinson played all these years for Bayern, they would have won the CL way before this year. Lewy is a bit overrated and very depended on service.

Never understood why we didn't get him. Could have found a way but it didn't happen.

Because our board couldn't sanction getting an old striker after ditching Suarez. Although there were rumours of us being interested in Dzeko.

Too bad as you only have to look at the goals he scored yesterday to understand he is a true CF that knows what he is doing upfront.

It's interesting how some people are so easily influenced by a good game. Obviously Cavani is going to have some great games here and there, class players always do. It's exactly the same with Suarez, he will win points for Atleti.

But their consistencies are gone. I don't understand how one good game overshadows 4 bad ones. It's funny how it makes people anxious over missing out on Cavani or letting go of Suarez.

Amount of bs in one post is way too high.

I was never a fan of his, but for a 2 year contract and considering our current options, it would have been good to have an experienced striker.
