God, i think in the knockout stages will get again a hammering similar to the Bayern one.I can't stand the clowns in defence anymore.

Only expectations we can have are not to get hammered. I think that's a fair expectation to have, even if you're Leeds United, let alone FC Barcelona.

Happy that we are producing a lot of chances, even without Messi playing but man, what a gaping hole our defense is. Top priority moving forward to address and I think our top transfer priorities should be getting 2 CBs.

Is Ansu OK?

Exactly, yet some posters think Messi can just stand around and wait for it with the occasional burst through in behind hoping the 'creative' players will thread a ball through a 9-man block. It's a different team, mainly with the same theme. Betis, however always seem to oblige.

Different appraoch though. Low block with intense pressign vs whatever Betis is trying to do.

Yea, fair point. But this game was not that different compared to Alaves. Finishing was better. With better finishing, we win the Alaves game similarly to this one, 5-1 or something.

The really bad games were Sevilla, Getafe and Kiev.

We create alot, but give up lots with our soft butter on a summers day defence.

This season is gonna be a fun rollercoaster with alot of games like this opening run. Only way we can sure up the defence is if somehow Ronald Araujo ends up being prime Van Dijk to snap out all counters. And I don't think thats gonna happen.
