Lionel Messi - v7

Because it?s on Sunday...
That's not what I mean. Why would Radio Catalunya know if Messi "right now" intends to not show up "on the advice of his lawyers". That wording sounds like bs. If he wants to force a move, I'd expect him to just stay away unannounced, or at least not some vague shit like "as of right now I don't think of going because my lawyers said so". Bottom line is, I think a lot of news come out straight from people's asses right now.

If he wants to force his way out he will.

Either the courts will side with him on the clause in his contract or FIFA will set a fee under 100m for him if it comes to that. The board knows this.

This hardman act by Barto is pathetic. Too many political games and optics warfare for my liking.

Yes, but I heard that if the team that gets him loses to CAS, they would be forced to pay 700m. Nobody wants that risk, which is what gives us leverage for getting a good deal.

In the end I think they’ll come to an agreement for 100-150m maybe including some players. All this talk of Barto not accepting anything less than 700m and him refusing to let Messi is just more BS to make Barto look good, seen it all before.. so that if Messi does go he’ll look like a “good guy” in the media who tried his best and they’ll avoid talking about the fact that him and his failure of a board is the main reason why he left.

For a businessman, Bartomeu is pretty dumb. This is the best chance we have for selling Messi on a good deal for the club.

June is not the end of the season this year. It clearly changed due to COVID.

Bartomeu is clearly doing this to make to Messi look like the bad guy. Judging by Messigician's comments, it's clearly working. He's turned against Messi and siding with Bartomeu.

It would depend on if the wages were paid or not, I believe. As a legal case it would get very complicated as the situation is unprecedented. From Barcelona side the arguement would be why wasn't this submitted or made known in July?

It's what Ronaldo did.

Until 2016 he was doing his best against a prime Barca without much success.

He told the fans " I owe you a champions league final, then he won the threepeat. And yes his best days were close to being behind too at that point.

If there's anytime to stick with us for the new generation irs now.

Not selfishly jump ship without even addressing the fans
Perez built amazing team and he is still doing it. Their finances are amazing as well.

That team with Messi would never lose ffs.

It is coming from peoples assess. This forum is just as credible as Sport, MD, and Marca. No one knows anything. Come Sunday and he’s not doing the tests, then for sure we’re fuked. I am certain it’s a prerequisite to play the season

Nah, they dont have to. They can wait for a year and take him for free and Messi will fucking sulk and be of no use on already finished team. This suits no one.

This. We may as well try to get something for him. Bartomen is just being stubborn. Bartomenu is hated either way, so him selling Messi won't make much a difference. I just feel he's trying to take Messi down with him. Such a disgusting human being.

Do we really want an unhappy Messi playing with a shit Barcelona squad? And I only think our performances will get much worse.

This.

Neymar thought he would win too folks but he had to pay us.

Barto's predatory legal team doesn't fuck around.

What's the point in even talking about this.

Messi wants to leave, he's under contract, and Barto doesn't want to sell.

If Messi is stubborn and won't change his mind well then Barto is even worst lol.

If Messi leaving results in president resign, a rebuild and all these toxic washed overpaid shameless amigos out of the club, it will be one of the biggest points in his legacy imo, people say him leaving will ruin his legacy, but it might be the opposite

I have a gut feeling he will leave for free in the end. We aren?t getting a penny for him, and barto will refuse to take him to court in fear of looking like the biggest villain of Catalunya

I don't think so. If the reports of Barca financial situation are true it is in his best interest to sell Messi and cover the loss. Especially if the board ppl really
answer for a loss with their assets.

He's a politician. He will choose his interest while trying to look "he tried".

Need to wait for FC Messi fans to catch up and realize its not Barto forcing Messi to leave, he wants out and Barto resigning changes nothing

currently if Barto starts nego with Messi/City the fans will probably murder him
